Dr. Amanpreet Singh Gill
 

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Engineering at Durham University.

 

I completed my PhD and M.Tech from the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Solid Mechanics and Design), Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. My PhD thesis focused on modulating elastic properties of active latticed structures using piezoelectric and magnetostrictive materials with applications in energy harvesting systems.

My master's research delved into mechanical metamaterials, focusing on wave propagation and active vibration attenuation.
